Soundtrack Sunday- Tron Legacy

Tron Legacy is the sequel to the 1982 movie Tron.  It seems that people either loved it or hated it (I happened to love it), but, in general, everyone agrees that the soundtrack is awesome.  (See?  Even Cracked.com thinks that, even though they’re wrong about the movie being dumb.  It’s awesome.)

The soundtrack was composed by  Daft Punk and is a mix of orchestral and electronic music.  The result is perfectly suited for a movie that takes place inside a computerized world.  There’s hints of majesty and wonder.  Excitement and danger.  Fear and love.  It’s beautiful.  And also really fun to drive fast to.
